For the third year in a row, Jameson Irish whiskey sponsored the Independent Spirit Awards in Los Angeles. This festival rewards the year's best independent films, with The Artist picking up three awards in 2012. Many celebrities graced the red carpet for the event, including Michelle Williams, named best actress for her role in My Week With Marilyn.

Jameson also supports independent cinema through the Find Your Audience Award, which enables small-scale award-winning films to be distributed more widely.
