On the 17th of April, celebrations were held around the world for the second Malbec World Day, which commemorates the day when Argentine president Sarmiento proposed to broaden Argentina’s wine industry in 1853. Many grape varieties were brought to Argentina, including the now famous Malbec grape.
Graffigna had the pleasure of participating in many events for the occasion, such as the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, or a tasting hosted by the Consul General of Argentina at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
The success of Malbec World Day shows how popular this variety has become, and Graffigna looks forward to participating in the 2013 edition.
