Perrier-Jouët unveils Lost Time installation by Glithero
At Design Miami/ 2012 fair, the famous Champagne invited artists Glithero to create an artwork inspired by Art Nouveau.
Art Nouveau was at the heart of the 8th edition of Design Miami/ fair. As the exclusive Champagne partner of the event, Perrier-Jouët invited London-based designers Glithero to create an installation on this year’s prominent theme. Lost Time (Temps Perdu) was unveiled on December 4th, an artwork that challenges perception and offers an environment of transformation, with Perrier-Jouët Champagne cellars as a main source of inspiration. Lost Time refers to the works of architect Antonio Gaudi, as well as natural structures. It is composed of weighted, beaded strings that hang to form curves: these beads can be considered as a metaphor of dewdrops found in the cellars of Perrier-Jouët.
