History and know-how

J.P. Wiser, the son of a Dutch farmer, created Wiser’s in 1857 near Prescott on the banks of the Saint Lawrence River in Canada. Seeking to produce high-quality whisky, he was meticulous in his choice of ingredients and wood for the casks in which the spirit should age. Today, Wiser’s is still handmade, blended for smoothness and aged in white-oak casks.

Range and Tasting

The Wiser’s range comprises Wiser’s Special Blend, Wiser’s Deluxe, Wiser’s Small Batch, Wiser’s Legacy and Wiser’s 18 Year Old. All of Wiser’s whiskies can be enjoyed straight, with water, on ice or in cocktails.
