Corporate Social Responsibility is a major focus in Pernod Ricard's constant quest for improvement. The Group has risen to the challenge of reconciling financial efficiency, respect for stakeholders, environmental protection, consumer protection and cultural awareness.
Through its partnership with the OstinatO Orchestra Workshop, Pernod Ricard is asserting its intention to support young talent and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit that is a feature of all creative and innovative ambition.
ORIGINALITY OF THE OSTINATO ORCHESTRA WORKSHOP
The OstinatO Orchestra Workshop’s originality lies in its composition and ambition: it consists of young instrumentalists under 25 years of age
and aims to consolidate their knowledge of the profession and support their entry into the world of professional orchestra music.
AN AMBITION SHARED BY THE FOUNDERS AND SPONSORS
The OstinatO Orchestra Workshop was created in 1997 by conductor Manuel Rosenthal. Since 2004, it has benefited from the support of Pernod Ricard, which provides more opportunities for musicians to perform in a professional environment.
The Group therefore invites OstinatO to play at major events, or in front of demanding audiences, such as at the 8th International Arts Festival in Shanghai, the Group’s annual soirée or meetings of the Shareholders’ Club.
THE ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT AT THE HEART OF THIS ACTION
The musicians in the Orchestra Workshop are hired under professional training or temporary contracts. The aim is to promote their entry to the world of professional music.
By supporting OstinatO, Pernod Ricard is contributing to develop the entrepreneurial spirit of young instrumentalists, while confirming its commitment to artistic creation in all its forms.
