Forging partnerships with authorities and organisations
The promotion of responsible drinking requires a concerted effort by all stakeholders (public authorities, Social Aspect Organisations, doctors, etc.). To do this, Pernod Ricard contributes to the work of national and international organisations all over the world.
A COMMITMENT ALONGSIDE THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION
In June 2007, Pernod Ricard signed the European Forum’s Alcohol and Health Charter.
This forum for the European Commission’s work brings together economic agents and NGOs looking to discourage excessive or inappropriate alcohol consumption. EU Member States, European institutions, the World Health Organisation and the International Organisation of Vine and Wine sit as observers.
Upon joining this forum, Pernod Ricard provided the European Commission with a concrete action plan, including objectives and information on procedures for monitoring and evaluating results.
The Group is committed to taking concrete action and assessing its results to help reduce road accidents.
This Charter allows signatories to share good practices to help improve road safety in Europe.
