HISTORY
A pioneer of coffee liqueur, Kahlúa was created in Mexico in 1936. At the beginning of the 1960s, Jules Berman, an art collector and entrepreneur, introduced it to the United States.
While there is still a touch of mystery surrounding Kahlúa's exact origins, its groundbreaking flavour is enjoyed worldwide today.
KNOW-HOW
Kahlúa uses 100% Arabica coffee beans, grown on the high plateaus of Veracruz which offer optimum altitude and climate conditions. They are fresh, with a subtle hint of chocolate that defines Kahlúa's unique flavour and aroma.
These coffee beans are roasted slightly, just enough to develop a delicate flavour, then briefly ground to preserve their natural smoothness. The ground coffee is immediately extracted with water. Freshly filtered, it is then blended with sugar cane alcohol, vanilla and caramel.

Kahlúa
KahlúaOriginal
Relying on two of the area’s finest ingredients — sugarcane and 100% Arabica coffee —, the flavour of Kahlúa reflects the multicultural region where it comes from. KAHLÚA Liqueur offers scents of bittersweet coffee, roasted chestnut, and multilayered flavours of black coffee and butter.
KahlúaHazelnut
Introduced in 2007, this dark mahogany liqueur is smooth and satiny with a creamy, nutty finish. Though hazelnut is the first flavour coming up, it is immediately followed by an intense burst of coffee. Kahlúa Hazelnut can be used in a hot or chilled coffee drink.
KahlúaMocha
Made with a rich blend of 100% Arabica coffee, natural vanilla, dark chocolate and sugarcane spirit, Kahlúa Mocha offers a bittersweet twist to the more classic version of Kahlúa. It can be served over ice, in a contemporary cocktail, or added to other Kahlúa recipes for a chocolaty taste.
KahlúaFrench Vanilla
The velvety taste of vanilla complements the intensity of coffee and cane in this liqueur. Kahlúa French Vanilla is best served over ice.
KahlúaEspecial
Launched in 2002, Kahlúa Especial offers an especially rich coffee taste. This intensely flavoured dark espresso liqueur is made from the purest Arabica coffee beans and should be served with ice.
