Wyborowa
Wyborowa is a pure rye vodka made in Poznan, a city in Western Poland. Created in the late 1920s, the brand soon entered the export market, reaching the United States in 1934 just after Prohibition. Today, Wyborowa is sold in over 90 countries around the world.
History and know-how
Wyborowa was launched by Poland’s state spirit monopoly in 1927 and was produced using the most advanced industrial technology of the time. The formulation was changed for export markets in 1937, rye replacing potatoes as a raw material. That same formulation is still used today.
Range and Tasting
Wyborowa is available in a variety of formats, running from 5cl to 4.5L. It can be used in cocktails, mixed with fruit juices and cordials or served neat straight from the chiller.
