Malibu is collaborating with noughties cult classic, Mean Girls, and thankfully, you don’t need to be a mathlete to work out that bringing together two pop-culture icons equals a match made in a kitschy and nostalgic millennial heaven.
As well as being a key partner for an exclusive gala-night premiere hosted at the Ham Yard Hotel, London, thanks to Malibu, every Wednesday between the official film release (January 17) and February 7 will be about wearing (and drinking) pink.
With every ticket purchase to see Mean Girls at Showcase Cinemas, on Pink Wednesdays, Malibu will be ensuring cinemagoers ‘drink pink’ by supplying a ready-to-drink can of Malibu Strawberry Daquiri to all those who arrive to see the film wearing pink to deliver the ultimate ‘fetch’ experience. As a key brand partner for the launch of this (sure to be) hit film, co-branded advertising will roll-out across Social.
