After a successful introduction in Berlin and Detroit, Our/Vodka ' the first global vodka with local roots ' sets out to redraw the vodka map. This Seattle version if fresh, pure, with a fruity note. For this third edition, Pernod Ricard has partnered with local entrepreneurs Nin Truong and Christa Thomas.
Nin and Christa are co-founders of WKND, a creative multi disciplinary design studio based in Seattle. The studio projects range from interior architecture to product and apparel design including its in-house projects Maiden Noir and Blk Pine Workshop (a bag and lifestyle line manufactured locally in Seattle).
The launch event was held at the tasting room of the distillery; a beautiful space designed and carefully curated by the local partners. It was attended by over 100 consumers, influencers, store/bar owners and personal friends of the Our/Seattle team. The food and drinks, led by the Moscow Mule, where also prepared by the partners. A guest DJ complimented the night that was enhanced by the presence of all Our/Vodka USA partners.
Nin and Christa are excited to bring this unique global experience to Seattle. They will handle the strategy, design, marketing and community event planning. Rounding out the team are two more talented women: Distillery Manager Allison Law and Sales Manager Olivia Lee. Their mission is to engage the community by spotlighting Seattle talent and supporting, as well as hosting, local events.
'Our' micro-distillery is located at 1836 NW Market St. Seattle, Washington 98107 in the Ballard neighborhood. The historic location was once a neighborhood grocery store in the 1930s before becoming Ballard Camera in 1948. After 61 years, the camera shop closed its doors in 2009. Since, this corner space sat abandoned with an uncertain future. When Our/Vodka decided to launch in Seattle, the team felt in love with this beautiful space and decided to preserve its history and embrace the original architecture of the space.
