One year joining our forces
Pernod Ricard, via its German affiliate Pernod Ricard Deutschland, was delighted to announce at the same time last year the signing of the agreement for the acquisition of a majority share of the brand Monkey 47, produced in the Black Forest region in Germany.
After one year of collaboration, David Haworth, Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Deutschland, is very optimistic about the brand: 'One year on nearly all countries have integrated Monkey 47 successfully into their portfolios. The growth to date overall has been even better than we expected. Many markets such as Germany, UK, Spain, USA, Ireland and Greece are performing ahead of plan but of course 2017/18 is the year when we start to really activate the brand.'
